Follow the Yellow Brick Road

Upon reviewing the syllabus for this course, I realized really quickly that "we are not in Kansas anymore." While I know my way around Facebook and feel like I won't crash and burn doing a Google search, I still consider myself a bit of a novice when it comes to the Internet and social media. I typically find myself getting the hang of something right as the newest app/platform comes on the market. The thought of truly immersing myself into the World Wide Web is just as overwhelming (if not more) as the many different components to this course. However, I do believe I will have a lot to learn and plenty of room to grow on this yellow brick road journey.
