#BlackGirlMagic

Part of this course requires us to identify and follow two online communities. I have a specific interest in topics related to Black women, so I felt it was appropriate to choose online communities that focus specifically on issues related to Black women. I plan to focus on Black female administrators as I continue to purse my doctoral degree, so these online communities will give me more insight into #BlackGirlMagic!

For Harriet

  1. I read Harriet all the time but I've never heard of Bougie Black Girl. I've made a note of it because it seems like a community that I would enjoy given my research interests. Thanks so much for sharing.

  2. I think it's great that you have a focus for your doctoral studies and can use this course to link to that. That's something I love about our ISLT courses in that we can choose many of our own project and paper topics. I was just telling a colleague about this the other day because she didn't want to take courses which narrowed her focus.
